The VI Seminar dedicated to Prof. Aleksandra Sokołowska, focusing on modern material technologies, was held from April 18-21, 2024 at the 'Zenit' center of the Łódź University of Technology in Jastrzębia Góra. The seminar was dedicated to Prof. Aleksandra Sokołowska, who had connections with the Warsaw University of Technology and the Łódź University of Technology. Her work contributed to the development of diamond structure synthesis technologies.
We were also there. Janusz Woźny presented a presentation on the atomic level modeling of selected materials and structures used in electronics. The presentation covered various models used in atomic-level simulations, their problems, and limitations. Issues related to modeling defects in SiC, ZnO nanostructures, and Si were presented.
