From June 23rd to 25th, 2025, the international conference MicroTherm – Microtechnology and Thermal Problems in Electronics took place in Łódź, co-organized by Lodz University of Technology (Department of Semiconductor and Optoelectronic Devices) and Warsaw University of Technology (Institute of Microelectronics and Optoelectronics).
We would like to thank all participants for their active involvement in this event. It was three days filled with intensive scientific discussions, inspiring presentations, and international exchange of experience. At the Sports Bay of Lodz University of Technology, we welcomed researchers from all over the world, who shared their expertise in the fields of micro- and nanoelectronics, photovoltaics, optoelectronics, and thermal issues.
Business Session
A special highlight of our event was the business session, during which companies presented their activities, technologies, and areas of collaboration with academia. Participants had the opportunity to learn about current industry challenges, development directions, and technology transfer opportunities. The session was hosted by Przemek Mikus and featured representatives of companies operating in micro- and nanoelectronics, photovoltaics, optoelectronics, and future technologies. It was an excellent occasion for networking and inspiring new collaborative projects!
This year’s edition also included a rich program of accompanying events, which fostered the exchange of experiences and the establishment of new contacts. It was a fantastic restart after a six-year break—thanks to you, we can truly speak of a great return for MicroTherm!
We are already looking forward to the next edition, which will take place in two years — see you in 2027!
